pattern:

r2 : knit the knints, purl the purls

r4 : knit the knits, purl the purls

repeat pattern rows 1-4  4 more times

Heel

next row : *sl1, k1* over 2 needles, turn work
next row (ws) : sl1, purl all, turn

repeat 14 more times


 
Heel turn

r1 (rs) : sl1, k18, ssk, k1, turn
r2 (ws) : sl1, p7, p2t, p1, turn
r3 (rs) : sl1, k to one st before the gap, ssk, k1, turn
r4 (ws) : sl1, p to 1 before the gap, p2t, p1, turn

repeat r3+4 until all the stitches are worked

 

Gusset

next row: k 10 sts, mark the new start of your row here, knit 10 stitches, pick up 17 sts along your slipstitchedge, work N2+3 accoeding to instep pattern (r1), pick up 17 sts along the slipstitchedge, k N4

r1: N1 - knit
      N2+3 - knit according the pattern rows (knit the knits, purl the   purls)
      N4 - knit
r2 : N1 - knit to 3 before the end, k2t, k1
      N2+3 - knit according the pattern rows (r3)
      N4 - k1, ssk, knit to the end

repeat r1 and 2 until 16 stitches are left on N1+4 (6 pattern repeats)

 
Foot

continue knitting the foot:

N1 knit
N2+3 follow the pattern rows
K4 knit

to desired length, stop 4 cm/ 1.5 inches before your toes, be sure to end on a pattern R2 or R4 (I worked 48 rows)

Toe

r1 : k to 3 sts before the end of N1, k2t, k2, ssk, kto 3 sts before the end of N3,  k2t, k2, ssk, k to the end of N4

r2 : knit all

repeat those 2 rows another 4 times (44 sts left)

then repeat r1 until 20 stitches are left,

knit once from N1 to the end of N3.

Close the gap (I'm using the kitchener stitch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmgE7YQkrFw&feature=relmfu  ) , weave in the ends, enjoy !
