Repeat row3 and 4 until all stitches are worked (20 stitches left on the needle)

Gusset

knit across the 20 stitches, change yarn back to color A

Pick up 17 sts along the edge of the heel flap (1 in each chain stitch). Knit across the instep stitches in the leg pattern on N2 and 3. Then pick up 17 stitches along the remaining edge of the heel flap on N4 and knit 10 stitches (= new beginning of your row. You can put a  stitchmarker ther if you like.)

r1 : N 1 - k to 3 sts befors instep , k2tog , k1 ,
      N 2+3 - knit instep in leg pattern
      N 4 - k1 , ssk , knit to the end of the row

r2 : k the sts on N1
      knit instep pattern on N2+3
      k the sts on N4

Repeat those two rows until 16 sts remain on N1+ 4

Continue with instep pattern and stockinette on the sole until the foot measures about 1.75 in less then desired length. (I did the pattern rows 61/2 times for the total length of the sock, be sure to end the instep pattern on a r7 or r14)

Knit two rows and change the color for the toe if you like.

Toe

r1 : k to 3 sts before the end of N1 , k2tog , k2 , ssk ,
knit th 3 stst before the end of N3 , k2tog , k2 , ssk , k to the end of the row

r2 : knit all stitches

Repeat r1+2 four more time, after that work only row1 until 20 sts are left total.

Claire - deutsche Anleitung

Nachdem ich Ewigkeiten gebraucht habe um mit dem Socken stricken warm zu werden, habe ich es dieses Jahr immerhin schon auf stolze 6 Paar geschafft, darunter ein Paar Kniestrümpfe als Geburtstagsgeschenk für meinen Papa und ein Paar selbst entworfene Söckchen. Der Name kam beim Stricken selber, weil das Muster schon ein klein wenig Schottenkaro sein könnte und mich die Wolle mehr an Erdbeeren als an den kleinen Prinzen erinnert hat :D

Zwickel

 

Als nächstes die 20 verbliebenen Maschen stricken und gegebenenfalls die Farbe wechseln.

An der Ferse entlang 17 Maschen aufnehmen. N 2 und 3 im Grundmuster stricken.                       17 Maschen entlang der Ferse aufnehmen und 10 Maschen stricken. Diese Stelle als neuen Rundenanfang markieren (Marker, Wolle).

 
r1 : re stricken bis 3 Maschen vor Ende der ersten Nadel, 2re zus, 1 re. N2 und 3 nach Grundmuster stricken. Auf N4 1 re , ssk , re stricken bis zum Ende der Reihe.

r2 : N1 rechte Maschen stricken. N2 und 3 nach Grundmuster stricken. N4 rechte Maschen stricken.

R1 und 2 wiederholen bis auf N1 und 4 nur noch 16 Maschen verbleiben.

Fuß

 

Weiter rechte Maschen für die Sohle (N1 und 4) und Grundmuster für den Spann (N2 und 3) 

stricken. Sobald noch etwa 4.5 cm bis zur gewünschten Länge fehlen mit den Zehen beginnen.

(Ich habe für die gesamte Socke 6 1/2 Wiederholungen des Grundmusters gestrickt, davon nur 2 

für das Bein. Grundmuster vor den Zehen bei R7 oder 14 beenden, dann noch 2 Reihen glatt 

rechts stricken.)

Farbe für die Zehen wechseln.

Zehen

r1 : re stricken bis 3 M vor Ende N1 , 2re zus. , 2 re , ssk , re stricken bis 3 M vor Ende N3 , 2re zus , 2 re , ssk , re stricken bis zum Ende der Reihe

r2 : glatt rechts stricken

Rêveur

Something I came up with one night -  after reading "The Nightcircus" by Erin Morgenstern for the third time (I highly recommend this book to everyone !!!) and trying to fall asleep. According to the book I chose a black and white yarn as a symbol for the big top and the tents and added the red as a sign that I'm a rêveuse too :)

A cosy shawlette in any size you like.


Yarn: Schoppel Wolle Zauberball  100g/420m - 75% virgin wool sw 25% nylon (or any yarn you want to knit with) in two colourway.
I used one Zauberball on the green and orange shawlette ... without section 5 it is really small... something I would give to my 5 year old niece. If you add section 5 in the constrast colour and do more than five repeats of those two rows you can use it as a smaller shwalette to cover your shoulders. The black and white shawlette is done with little more than 100 g of simple sock yarn - I needed a bit more because I wanted to do all the repeats. I'm about to knit Rêveur a 4th time with some Zauberball in the Schatten-colourway for all the right data about the shawlette.
        
Gauge: 30 stitches, 42 ridges = 10 cm (4 inches)

You need: 3,0  circular needle ; 15 stitchmarker (I'm using scrap yarn, because I can count and mark the stitches of each section before knitting), tapestry needle

Skills needed: cast on, knit, purl (but you can do the shawlette in garter stitch too, if you like), increase by knitting into the front and back of a stitch, knit to together, yarn over, bind off

r2  yo, purl all

Repeat those two rows  15 times


section 3  main colour
 
Count your stitches from the beginning of your row to the first stitchmarker and divide the counted stitches in half and place your marker, do the same with the stitches from each stitchmarker to another and from the last stitchmarker to the end of the row.

r1  yo, k1, kfb, ( ktm, yo, k1, yo) 7 times,  knit to the last two stitches, kfb,  k1
r2  yo, purl all

Repeat those two rows  15 times


section 4 main colour

Count your stitches from the beginning of your row to the stitchmarker and divide the counted stitches in half and place your marker, do the same with the stitches from each stitchmarker to another and form the last stitchmarker to the end of the row.

r1  yo, k1, kfb, ( ktm, yo, k1, yo) 15 times,  knit to the last two stitches, kfb,  k1
r2  yo, purl all

Repeat those two rows  5/10/15 times (depending on the size of the shawlette that you prefer... you can skip section 4 and do section 5  immediately too if you want something smaller just to cover you shoulder or for a childsized shawlette).


section 5  contrast colour

 If you're not comfortable with the purl rows you can do the whole shawlette in garter stitch.
